JAMK is one of the most famous and modern universities in Finland with its American style : large library, cafe, research centers, etc. It hosts more than 900 foreign students out of a total of around 30,000 students.
The campus combines architecture from the 1880s with the quite spectacular contemporary achievements of Alver Alto and Arto Sipinien, world-famous architects in a landscaped environment around a lake.
