Escuela Bancaria y Comercial
Strengths
Founded in 1929 by the President of the National Bank of Mexico to train his future executives, the Escuela Bancaria y Comercial is the oldest private university in Mexico and the only one exclusively dedicated to business and finance studies.
The university has approximately 12,000 students on 10 campuses. You will have classes at the “Mexico City Campus” in the city center.
Student life : sports (eg dance, martial arts, volleyball, football) & culture (eg photography).
Major, Academics
You will take courses at undergraduate level, in English (very few courses in English) and Spanish; For lectures in Spanish, the EBC organizes a language level assessment test.

Modern buildings – connected classrooms, cafeteria, auditorium, multimedia rooms, etc. – right in the center of Mexico City in Colonia Juarez, which is one of Mexico’s lively neighborhoods. Campuses are close to museums, bars, restaurants and the financial district.

Good to know
Mexico City is safe, there are just a few neighborhoods to avoid and like everywhere in Latin America, avoid showing off ostentatious wealth. This includes for example showing that you have a laptop in the metro.
“Pick-up service”: the university can pick you up from the airport.

Procedures
ID Card or passport (compulsory for destinations outside the EU) valid for six months after your return date.
Since 2013, no student visa has to be requested for French students for a study stay of less than 180 days. For other nationalities, please verify on https://www.gob.mx/sre.
Once there, you will however need to follow some procedures with the Immigration Service. Plan $200 of fees.
An international insurance is compulsory.
Accommodation
In shared apartments the university helps you find – plan € 300-500 per month.
